At Baby Bare, we aim to provide your products at an affordable price with great service. By purchasing from Baby Bare, you agree to all our policies as detailed below.
- Please ensure you have checked your order thoroughly prior to check out.
- PLEASE check your order confirmation has your notes, as we will not issue a return at our expense for no notes. Please email us if there is any problem with your order as soon as you receive you order confirmation.
- It is your responsibility to check your order to ensure all items have been received and are correct. You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order of any issues with the products.
- We will send your items as ordered. Please do not leave notes instructing to change your order. Please use the selections on the website to place your order as you want to receive it.
Shipping and Delivery
We aim to ship your products within 2 business days from the time we receive your order. During busy periods, holiday periods, and new releases, there may be a short delay.
We use Australia Post for all our shipping.
A flat postage rate of $4.95 per order applies to all online orders with Australia Post's domestic network.
Please note that we cannot take responsibility for items damaged by Australia Post during delivery. If you receive a parcel from Australia Post that appears to have been damaged or tampered with, you should address the issue immediately. Where an order contains pre-order or backorder items, we will wait until all items are available so that we can ship everything together.
We recommend all customers take out insurance on their order. This will cover you in the case of a missing parcel. Baby Bare is unable to take responisbility for lost or damaged goods.
Delayed, lost and damaged parcels
We use Australia Post for all our parcels. When your parcel is sent, you will receive tracking from Australia Post.
Sometimes, parcels take longer than expected. Please understand that this is completely out of our control. Where a parcel is taking longer than usual, it is important it is given ample time to be delivered. Australia Post will not conduct an investigation into your parcel until the service standard is exceeded.
Parcels that are shown as delivered by Australia Post
You must lodge a dispute through PayPal as they insure you for parcels that are marked as delivered, but not received. Please alert us to this issue via email, and we can assist you in lodging your claim.
Parcels lost in transit
Where a parcel stops moving through the Australia Post system, an investigation must be started. This takes 3-5 business days. We recommend all customers take out insurance as offered in the cart at check out to ensure they are covered in the case of lost parcels.
All orders are final. Once an order is placed we are unable to make changes to that order. This is due to the number of enquiries received and our commitment to shipping orders quickly. Where a request is made to make a change to an order, and it is not responded to, and the order ships, we will not be liable for costs arrising to make changes. We will not exchange or reship at our expense. Customers are given three opportunities to review their order before final confirmation and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have selected the correct products from our online store.
We will endeavour to contact you within 48 hours if there is any problem with your order such as colours in stock or payment.
While we will endeavour to follow any instructions in the provided comments section of the checkout process, we cannot guarantee that they will be followed. We reserve the right to process your order without regard to these comments where necessary.
Refunds Policy - AFTERPAY & ZIPPAY & PAYPAL
Please be aware when a refund is issued and payment has been made by ZipPay or AfterPay we will only refund the amount less 6% (the residual cost to us as their fees are non-refundable). If an order is paid for with PayPal we will only make refunds less their charge of approximately 2.5%+30c. This will however only occur if the refund is not a result of being our fault. For example if a customer makes an order on Afterpay and requests it be refunded we will only refund less the 6% fees. If a customer orders multiple trial packs which is against the terms of our site, they will be refunded less the fees. If an item ordered is out of stock, which is our fault, you will receive a full refund of that item.
A store credit is always available for 100% of your purchase amount.
We encourage our customers to pay with credit card directly to our website which helps keep our costs low and ensures you can have greater flexibility with your orders.
We offer a six month warranty on all our products. This warranty strictly applies six months from the date of purchase. If you have an issue with any products please contact us as soon as possible to ensure your claim is within 6 months. If you are not planning to use your nappies or other products for a period of time, please consider this when purchasing as we cannot extend the warranty to be from any other time than date of purchase.
To make a warranty claim please contact us via email to let us know the problem you are experiencing. Please provide the original order number when contacting us.
Our warranty covers the snaps on the nappy, stitching, elastics and zippers on other products. It is important to note however, that where a product has deteriorated from improper care or use, the warranty will not apply. The user must wash and care for the nappies & other products as per our instructions. The use of bleaches, improper washing or drying, will void the warranty. Our warranty also only applies to faults from manufacture. Damage to any products such as cracking a snap, ripping fabrics or other damage sustained from improper use or accidents will not be covered under warranty.
If a product arrives with a fault or issue or the wrong item is received, you must report this to us immediately prior to washing/using so we can arrange a replacement/exchange.
To make a claim we will request photos be sent to us of the products. A decision will be made regarding replacement, repair or a store credit in consultation with you. Before shipping replacement items or processing refunds, we will require that either the faulty items are returned to us or we are provided evidence that they have been destroyed/marked to our specification. It is up to Baby Bare to decide whether the item requires returning or the issue can be resolved via photos alone. We will provide a decision and further instructions as part of the return process. We are unable to make an exception to this. It is our decision whether a claim will be processed without physically seeing the goods. By purchasing from us, you agree to these conditions.
Return shipping to us to inspect an item is at your cost and should be sent by an A4 envelope with a $2 stamp if possible, or by the most cost effect manner. If the item is inspected by us and deemed faulty, we will refund the return postage to us up to $5 by way of store credit. If we require you to return the product to us for inspection and it is deemed damaged, we will not refund your shipping to return the item to us.
If you have any concerns about leaks or fit, please contact us for help in using the nappy via email email@example.com. We do not replace or refund nappies because of leaks or fit. We do not replace or refund for general wear such as pilling, fraying, or discolouration.
We will only handle warranty queries for products purchased directly through Baby Bare. If you have purchased our products through another retailer, please contact them directly. We do not provide warranty of any kind on secondhand products.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns due to change of mind. This is so we can ensure all our products are brand new, unworn and sanitary. We encourage parents to trial our nappies before making a large purchase. We will not be responsible for items that are too small or too large. All babies are different sizes and whilst our weight and sizing ranges apply to the majority of children, its not possible to guarantee that they will fit every child in the size guide.
Further we will not be responsible for products that are ordered in error, or where a change of mind occurs. All sales are FINAL.
Due to the nature of Baby Bare products, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We are unable to exchange, return or refund for change of mind.

Bamboo is a super absorbent and effective material for nappies. For this reason we use it in our nappies.
Bamboo is not as hardy as some other fabrics like synthetics. It requires proper care to maintain its composition. Nappies must be washed regularly, with enough water and with an effective detergent.
Yellowing, browning, smells and staining all indicate that the wash routine is not sufficient to maintain the fabric. It is the responsibility of the customer to check that their bamboo fabrics are clean and not deteriorating. We do not replace inserts for deterioration as this is a result of improper washing or care. It is unusual for customers to experience deterioration, but please be aware this is not covered by warranty. You should consider this before purchasing bamboo nappies as they may not be suitable for every child.
Many of our products are made by hand and/or contain natural materials. As such, there will be slight variations in sizing and shape between different units and different batches. This will not affect the fit or use of the product. We will not refund or replace nappies for slight variations between items.
In particular, variations in the bamboo fabrics being used may cause differences in the size of inserts in different batches. These size variations will not affect the nappy's function or the insert's absorbency. Some bamboo will contract more in different washing cycles and at different temperatures. If this bothers you, you can generally stretch it back into shape when wet.
We take no responsibility for slight variations in the colour representations of our products on our website. We have tried our best to represent these honestly and to the best of our ability through photographs. Please understand there may be slight variations between the product colour and the colours on your computer monitor.
Our products must only be used as described on our site or within any material distributed to you from Baby Bare. Responsibility will not be taken due to any injury or damage caused from misuse of our product.
You must thoroughly wash all products before their first use to ensure they are clean and to help boost their absorbency. All nappies and accessories must be hygienically cleaned and dried completely between uses.
Please do not use any accessory or aid with the use of our products (such as safety pins, ties, ribbons etc). These can pose a safety risk to your child.
It is the responsibility of the parent or carer to ensure they only use nappies in perfect working order. Do not fit your child with a nappy that has loose or exposed elastic, loose snaps, or any other fault that could potentially cause harm to your child.
